On March 26, 2006 the Senate Judiciary Committee began consideration of a comprehensive immigration reform bill that addresses fundamental aspects of immigration law long in need of overhaul. The Committee is working on a realistic, workable path to permanent legal status for the current undocumented population. One aspect of this bill is the Guest Worker Program. Will it pass?
